A broken capillary is a vessel that has permanently dilated. Once the wall has stretched and lost its ability to constrict, no cream, serum, or amount of time will close it — which is why that thread vein beside your nose has been there for years.
Laser treatment addresses it directly. Energy is absorbed by the haemoglobin inside the vessel, heating it until the vessel wall collapses and seals. Blood reroutes through healthy vessels nearby, and your body clears the closed one over the following weeks.
Our Treatment:
Clears Facial Thread Veins: Targets broken capillaries around the nose, cheeks, and chin.
Treats Spider Veins on the Legs: Closes fine surface veins that make legs look mottled.
Removes Red Vascular Marks: Treats cherry angiomas and other benign red lesions.
Laser vein treatment is likely a great fit if you:
Have broken capillaries or thread veins on the face, especially around the nose
Notice fine spider veins on the legs you’d rather not cover
Have small red raised spots that have appeared with age
Want individual vessels targeted rather than a general skin treatment
Have veins that have been there for years and clearly aren’t fading
(This treats fine surface vessels. Larger bulging varicose veins need assessment by a vein specialist, and we’ll refer you appropriately if that’s what we find.)
Individual Vessels vs. Diffuse Redness: Vein treatment targets specific visible vessels one at a time. IPL treats overall flushing and background redness across a whole area.
Precision vs. Coverage: A single thread vein by the nose calls for targeted treatment. Widespread rosacea flushing responds better to IPL.
Often Combined: Many clients clear diffuse redness with IPL, then have stubborn individual vessels targeted afterwards.
We examine the vessels, confirm they're suitable for surface treatment, and check there's no underlying cause needing specialist review first.
The Treatment
A 15–45 minute session depending on how many vessels are being treated. Energy is delivered along each vessel — most clients describe a brief hot snap per pulse, with cooling throughout.
The Results
Treated vessels may look darker or slightly raised immediately, then fade over two to six weeks as your body clears them. Facial veins often respond in a single session; legs typically need two or three.
Pricing depends on the number and size of vessels being treated and whether you’re treating the face or legs. Most facial thread veins are cleared in one to three short sessions.

Everything you’re wondering about laser vein treatment, answered.
How many sessions will I need?
Facial thread veins often clear in a single session. Leg veins usually need two or three, spaced four to six weeks apart, as they’re larger and under more pressure.
Does it hurt?
Each pulse feels like a brief hot snap. Most clients tolerate facial treatment easily without numbing; leg veins can be slightly more uncomfortable and numbing is available.
Will the veins come back?
A treated and closed vessel doesn’t reopen. However, the same tendency that produced it remains, so new vessels can appear over time — particularly with sun exposure, which is the main preventable factor.
Is there any downtime?
Minimal. Treated vessels may look darker or slightly raised for a day or two, with occasional mild bruising. Most clients return to normal activity immediately.
Can you treat varicose veins?
No. Laser treats fine surface vessels. Larger bulging varicose veins indicate deeper valve issues and need assessment by a vein specialist — we’ll tell you honestly and refer you if that’s what we see.
What is the aftercare?
Use sunscreen daily on treated areas, avoid heat, saunas, and hot showers for 48 hours, and skip strenuous exercise for a day. For leg veins, compression may be recommended.
