Thousands of micro-channels trigger your skin's own repair response — rebuilding collagen where scarring, texture, and fine lines sit. Safe for all skin tones.
Your skin has a repair system that switches on when tissue is damaged — it floods the area with growth factors and lays down fresh collagen. The problem is that it only activates in response to injury, which is no help for scarring that healed years ago.
Microneedling triggers that response deliberately. A precision device creates thousands of microscopic channels at a controlled depth, prompting the skin to rebuild in the exact areas you’re treating — without damaging the surface the way ablative treatments do.
Our Treatment:
Softens Acne Scarring: Breaks down old scar tissue and fills indented scars with new collagen.
Refines Texture and Pores: Smooths rough, uneven skin and reduces the appearance of enlarged pores.
Improves Fine Lines and Firmness: Rebuilds collagen density across the treated area.
Both improve texture, but they work from opposite directions:
Depth vs. Surface: Microneedling reaches the dermis where scar tissue and collagen loss sit. Peels work from the top down, better suited to pigmentation and congestion.
Different Strengths: Needling excels at indented scarring and firmness. Peels excel at dark marks and clarity.
Often Sequenced: Many clients alternate between the two across a treatment plan, addressing both texture and tone.
We assess your scarring, texture, and skin thickness, then set needle depth accordingly — deeper for scarring, shallower for general refinement. Numbing cream is applied for 30–45 minutes.
The Treatment
A 45–60 minute session. The device passes across the skin in overlapping sections. Most clients describe pressure and vibration rather than pain, with bonier areas slightly more sensitive.
The Results
Redness settles within 24–48 hours. Texture improves within weeks, while scarring and firmness continue building over three to six months as collagen forms.
Microneedling at Geneva Med Spa is $399 per session for the face, with a course of three at $1,125. Neck and décolleté are also available, and most clients see the best results from a series spaced four to six weeks apart.

Collagen rebuilds slowly, so these results span months rather than weeks — look at how indented scarring shallows and light falls more evenly across the cheek. Swipe to see the range.

How many sessions will I need?
Most clients need three to six, spaced four to six weeks apart. Acne scarring generally requires more sessions than general texture refinement, and results compound with each treatment.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream is applied for 30–45 minutes beforehand. Most clients describe pressure and vibration rather than pain, though the forehead and jawline can feel sharper.
What's the downtime?
Expect redness like mild sunburn for 24–48 hours, and slight roughness or flaking for a few days. Most clients return to work the next day and can wear makeup after 24 hours.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. Because microneedling creates mechanical channels rather than heating the skin, the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation is much lower than with lasers or aggressive peels.
How is this different from at-home derma rollers?
Depth and sterility. Professional devices use single-use sterile cartridges at controlled, adjustable depths. Home rollers can’t reach the dermis safely and carry a real infection risk when reused.
What is the aftercare?
Keep skin clean and hydrated, avoid retinol, acids, and exfoliants for a week, and use sunscreen daily. Skip the gym, saunas, and swimming for 48 hours while the channels close.
Join clients across Frisco who finally addressed scarring at the level it actually sits. Tell us a bit about what you’d like, and we’ll get back to you with availability and next steps.
