A few precisely placed units relax the muscle around your mouth, letting the upper lip roll gently outward — more lip on show, no volume added. Administered by experienced, licensed injectors.
Plenty of people don’t want bigger lips — they want the lip they already have to show. The muscle circling the mouth pulls the upper lip inward and downward, and in some people it’s strong enough to roll the lip under, especially when smiling. A gummy smile often comes from the same muscle.
A lip flip addresses that directly. A few small units relax the muscle just above the lip line, allowing the upper lip to turn slightly outward and reveal more of itself.
Our Treatment:
Reveals More Upper Lip: The lip rolls gently outward instead of tucking under.
Softens a Gummy Smile: Reduces how far the upper lip lifts when you smile.
Adds Nothing: No product placed in the lip itself — the shape stays entirely yours.
We look at how your lip moves when you talk and smile, then decide on unit placement. Because the area is small and sensitive, precision matters more than quantity here.
The Treatment
A 10–15 minute appointment. A few small injections just above the lip line — most clients describe a quick pinch and nothing more.
The Results
You'll notice the change in 3–5 days, with the full effect at around two weeks. Results last 2–3 months.
A lip flip at Geneva Med Spa is $199, including your consultation and treatment. Many clients pair it with lip filler for a fuller result — we’ll talk through both options and what suits your goals.

Everything you’re wondering about the lip flip, answered.
How long does a lip flip last?
Typically 2–3 months — shorter than filler, because only a few units are used in a very active muscle. Many clients repeat it three or four times a year.
Does it hurt?
The needle is ultra-fine and the injections take seconds. Most clients describe a quick pinch, and numbing cream is available if you’d prefer it.
Will my lips look bigger?
Not in volume — nothing is added. What changes is how much of your upper lip is visible, so lips read as fuller without actually being larger.
Can I have a lip flip and filler together?
Can I have a lip flip and filler together?
Yes, and many do. Filler adds volume while the flip improves how the upper lip sits — combined, they usually give a more balanced result than either alone.
Can it affect how I talk or drink?
Occasionally, briefly. Because the muscle is slightly relaxed, some clients notice minor difficulty with straws or pronouncing certain sounds for the first week or two. Conservative dosing keeps this minimal.
What should I avoid afterward?
Skip lying down, exercise, and alcohol for 24 hours, and avoid rubbing the area. Hold off on facials or lip massage for a couple of days.
