Unruly brows aren’t a styling problem — they’re a growth-direction problem. Hairs that grow downward, sideways, or in a swirl will fight gel every morning and drop back within hours, especially in heat or humidity.
Lamination changes the hair itself. A softening solution relaxes the bonds inside each hair so it can be redirected upward, then a second solution locks it into that position. Add tint, and finer hairs that were invisible now read as part of the brow.
Our Treatment:
Redirects Growth: Hairs are set upward and outward, filling gaps and creating fullness from what’s already there.
Deepens Colour: Tint darkens fine, light hairs that previously disappeared into the skin.
Lasts Weeks, Not Hours: Holds through workouts, showers, and humidity with no daily styling.
Have brows that grow downward, sideways, or refuse to sit flat
Spend time every morning brushing and setting your brows
Have gaps that would close if the hair sat differently
Want the fluffy, brushed-up look without daily product
Have light or fine brow hairs that need tint to actually show
(If your brows are genuinely sparse with little hair to work with, microblading or powder brows will do more — lamination reshapes what’s there rather than adding to it.)
Two very different approaches to fuller-looking brows:
Reshapes vs. Adds: Lamination redirects the hair you already have. Microblading and powder brows deposit pigment to create hair or shading that isn’t there.
Weeks vs. Years: Lamination lasts six to eight weeks. Semi-permanent brows last one to three years.
No Commitment: Lamination grows out naturally with zero permanence — a good starting point if you’re unsure about pigment.
We look at your natural growth pattern and agree on shape — how lifted, how full, how defined. Tint shade is matched to your hair and colouring.
The Treatment
A 45–60 minute appointment. Solutions are applied and timed carefully, brows are set into position, then tinted and conditioned. Most clients feel nothing beyond the brush.
The Results
Visible the moment you sit up. Brows must stay dry for 24 hours, after which they hold their shape for six to eight weeks.
Brow lamination with tint at Geneva Med Spa is $150, including shaping and conditioning treatment. Most clients return every six to eight weeks as the brows grow out.

Everything you’re wondering about brow lamination, answered.
How long does it last?
Six to eight weeks, as the hair grows out and returns to its natural direction. Tint typically fades a little sooner, at around four to six weeks.
Does it damage the hair?
Not when performed correctly and spaced appropriately. The solutions are timed to your hair’s condition, and we finish with a conditioning treatment. Over-laminating too frequently is what causes dryness — which is why we don’t repeat it sooner than six weeks.
Does it hurt?
No. There are no needles and nothing invasive — most clients find it relaxing. If you have very sensitive skin, let us know and we’ll patch test beforehand.
What can't I do afterwards?
Keep brows completely dry for 24 hours — no washing, sweating, steam, or swimming. Avoid oil-based products on the brows, as they break down the set faster.
Can I have it if my brows are very sparse?
Lamination works with existing hair, so results depend on what you have. If there’s very little to redirect, semi-permanent brows will give a fuller result — we’ll tell you honestly at consultation.
Can I combine it with semi-permanent brows?
Yes, and it’s a popular pairing. Pigment creates the base shape while lamination adds texture and lift from your natural hair. We’ll space the treatments appropriately.
